This is just a quick post to say that I'm leaving for eastern Senegal tomorrow for a week-long rural visit. I'll be going with 4 other students from the program, but staying with separate host families in a village in a region called Kedougou, which is supposed to be beautiful. It'll be be another long trip, but it's going to be great. For the past few weeks I've been going through a series of ups and downs, which my friends have been experiencing too. It will be good to get away from the routine for a little while.
